W-S High School Earns Title I School of Recognition Award

For the 2014-2015, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction announced Wauzeka-Steuben High School is once again the recipient of a Title I School of Recognition award! For the second year in a row, WSHS is a "Beating the Odds School", which means they are in the top 25% of high-poverty schools in the state AND have above-average student achievement in reading and mathematics when compared to schools from similarly sized districts, schools, grade configurations, and poverty levels. This is a huge accomplishment - congratulations WSHS students and the entire staff - as all of our staff helped contribute to this award! See State Superintendent Tony Evers' full press release here
