Hello, I’m Ben Krahn. I teach and work with students that love challenging intellectual situations, however struggle to harness the patience that allows them to successfully navigate the ideas and concepts that are presented to them. I try to help remind them that Ernest Hemingway’s personal idea of “grace under fire” is a valuable asset to possess in not only a student, but a citizen as well and can be applicable to many situations in life.
When I am not teaching, I am most often fly fishing for trout, writing, camping or enjoying the woods and valleys. Having managed to travel to many places such as California and Montana for hiking and fishing, I am truly honored to call the ecologically diverse state of Wisconsin “home”.
