The School District of Wauzeka-Steuben is a strong, supportive community with a committed staff that shares a passion for teaching and learning.


The District’s facility is located in Wauzeka, Wisconsin, a village of 750 people set in the Southwestern part of the state. The District's elementary school (PK-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12) are located in the same building complex with an enrollment of 316 students. The village has a grocery store, post office, bank, various repair shops, and several other businesses. Tourists flock to the vicinity for the beautiful scenery as well as the ample opportunities to see the rivers teeming with fish, eagles soaring overhead, deer grazing in cornfields, and many other forms of wildlife enjoying their natural habitats. It is located close to the Wisconsin, Kickapoo, and Mississippi Rivers with Prairie du Chien and Boscobel only minutes away, and LaCrosse and Madison within an hour and a half.
